PimEyes employs the power of AI to search the web and locate each image of you ever shared online. Simply upload a photo of yourself, and the website will attempt to identify it with other images of you on the web, particularly social media.
It can even inform you where and when the picture was uploaded. Others are referring to it as the “most unsettling website on the web.” The software can even identify older images of you, such as photographs from your younger years, and display pictures that were uploaded years ago. That being said, it’s not always accurate and may also display pictures of people who merely resemble you.
Many individuals have utilized various social media sites such as Yahoo Messenger, Hotmail, Orkut, MySpace, and Facebook over the years. Some of them might even have forgotten what pictures they posted on those sites. PimEyes now digs those up. The site’s paid version even provides you with the exact URLs to the sites where your photos are visible.

The website has generated mixed responses on the internet. Some users believe it’s a helpful tool to monitor where your photos are being utilized without your consent, but others find it very disturbing.

Gen Z consumers are particularly stunned to find that photos from their youth pop up—often at inconvenient moments.
